Universities and Schools
We love teaching students how to dabke! They always come with enthusiasm, a thirst for learning, participating and growing - all while providing us an outlet to encourage connection to their heritage and roots through movement.

Aiding in Arabic Language Teaching
With our members being fluent in Arabic, we were able to aide in Arabic language teaching by reciting the different Arabic words that mean love at Sidwell Elementary, followed by the students reading the meaning of each word. This was part of a dabke workshop, creating an immersive environment where kids experienced the culture through dance and language.
Malikat on the Move
We love spreading dabke to communities across the nation, and inshallah more globally in the future. We’ve danced in 11 states and the District of Columbia. Hoping for more to come soon!
