We want to engage Arab American communities, as well as those unfamiliar with Arab culture, in the celebration and education of our culture by centering Arab women and affirming our presence and significance in the arts.
Your donation directly contributes to our work, funding:
A Malikat Al Dabke studio, where we will be able to:
Create Dabke-oriented events, inviting women and queer communities to participate in a safe space.
Development of Dabke as an academic curriculum that includes research and music education.
Digital storytelling representing Arab women and their heritage.
Assistance in creating traditional folkloric attire and acquiring instruments to elevate our performance and engagement.
